Ogun ex-student leaders charge Amosun over Truth Commission

ABEOKUTA- Following the inauguration of Truth Commission in Ogun State, Ogun Collectives, an umbrella body for past students union leaders in the state, has advised governor Ibikunle Amosun to allow the commission meet the expectations of the people.

The group in a statement by Comrades Femi Nuberu and Wale Sokoya at the end of its third congress argued that the commission should not be of dubious value, since no real dividend had been derived from previous commissions in the country.

The group said rather than engage in what may not be of  value to the people, the governor should immediately begin to deliver its electioneering promises to the people of  the state, and allow the necessary law agencies deal with whomsoever is found culpable from the last Administration.

It advised the government to urgently fulfil its promise to create 10,000 jobs, construct and repair roads, deliver free health and education ( with books).
