BrainFriend software will eradicate exam malpractice, says Ibifuro

AN innovative educational software known as BrainFriend has been developed by Cinfores Limited as a self preparatory tool to improve the academic performance of students ,at all levels, in examinations as well as reduce examination failure.

Addressing  Journalists at the unveiling and launch of the educational software application last week in Port Harcourt , the  Managing Director of Cinfores Limited, Asawo Ibifuro was optimistic and assured that if the product were deployed, it will promote e-learning as it contains useful e- notes that will enable users to prepare for all kinds of tests.

The software, he said is a compilation of examination questions with their answers in compact discs (CDs) and online.

According to him, the innovative software was designed to aid all students ranging from UBE 1-9, senior secondary school and post secondary school in their preparation for all major examinations. Solutions and explanations to questions, e- notes, latest Nigerian national curriculum and record-keeping of test scores, among others, are some of the features of the product.

Similarly, the benefits of the product, according to him include the following:
Minimize examination malpractice; proper preparation is said to prevent poor performance. The constant use of BrainFriend as examination preparatory tool will eradicate examination malpractice.

It will also aid in evaluating students’ continuous assessment and also  help parents and  teachers assess the preparedness of their children and students.

The BrainFriend can  also be used as a tool for testing an entire class on a particular subject or topic without the teacher bearing the brunt of marking the students’ examination scripts, as the software is capable of giving instant results.

Modern technology

Graduates seeking employment  will find it very useful in preparing for aptitude tests, as it covers a wide range of aptitude test questions and answers mostly used by multi-national organisations, oil and gas companies, banks, etc. It can develop students and other users on ICT thereby promoting learning and teaching of modern technology.

The software will also aid teachers in preparing lesson notes on various subjects and topics in their teaching activities as they are able to gain access to the national curriculum as a guide in their teaching activities. This is in addition to aiding teachers evaluate the level of preparedness of their students for any exams, ranging from terminal examinations, to First School Leaving Examination, Junior WAEC, SSCE, NECO, UTME and PUTME.

Mr Ibifuro said that BrainFriend also contains driving tests questions for drivers as well as questions and answers on Information and communication Technology (ICT).

Taking a look at the educational sector, he said without mincing words that it has become an embattled sector with the deteriorating academic performance of students. He said that as much as the Nigerian government deploys all effort to improve the educational sector,  it is yet to meet with its counterparts globally.

With the software application, he informed that students can take a demo exam on the online version or buy a study card that gives the user access for 15 exams.

Through this product,  students will be exposed to a wide range of questions ,over 45,000 questions, covering the Nigerian examination curriculum in 39 subjects.

“It is indeed a sure bet for improved academic excellence. This product has a 100% chance of enhancing a student’s academic performance and delivering to students excellent grades” he assured.

The subject composition of the product he said, are not limited to the following: Senior Secondary School Junior Secondary School,  Primary School, accounts/book keeping , agricultural science, brain teasers, agricultural science, business studies, basic science and technology, driving , Biology, Christian Religious Knowledge, computer studies, ICT, among others.
