ABAKALIKI- Following the declaration by Governor Martin Elechi during a stakeholders’ meeting of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ebonyi State, that power would shift from his political zone, Ebonyi Central to Ebonyi South senatorial district of the state in 2015, a member representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo federal constituency, Mr. Linus Okorie, Tuesday, urged  his people to work closely with the present administration for the smooth realization of the said objective.

Okorie said in the midst of of unity and peace the zone would be able to choose a suitable governorship

candidate for the next general election in the state.

The member, who made the remarks during a thank-you-visit to ten development centres and three local government areas that make up his

constituency, argued that the choice of governorship candidate would be easier and faster as members of the zone play down on their selfish interest and concentrate on achieving a collective

agenda for the betterment of the zone.
