The Flying Eagles, Thursday, defeated England 1-0 in the Round of 16 game at  the FIFA U-20 World Cup  in Colombia, thus qualifying for the quarter-finals of the competition.

The lone goal was scored by Egbedi in the 52nd minute of the match.
