Odu’a Chairman tasks associate, subsidiary companies on greater productivity

Chairman, Board of Directors, Odu’a Investment Company Limited, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has urged management and staff of associate and subsidiary companies to build a united and progressive team that will add value to the conglomerate.

Speaking during a familiarisation visit to Odu’a Printing and Publishing Company, Odu’a Telecoms (O’net), Askar Paints, Nigeria Wire and Cable Plc, Lafia Hotel, Premier Hotel and Cocoa Mall projects all in Ibadan, and the Odu’a-Oyo Farmers Academy, Awe, Oyo, last Wednesday and Thursday, Barrister Alli advised the workers to support the realisation of the objectives of the founding fathers of the conglomerate.

“I charge you to work with greater impetus and be dedicated to the vision of the founding fathers of this great patrimony called Odu’a Investment Company,” the chairman declared.

The Odu’a Chairman specifically tasked the management of these companies to justify the huge financial inputs made into them by ensuring that the companies were consistently run in a profitable manner.

Speaking at O’Net, Barrister Alli advised the management to explore the potentially huge market in the South West and make the telecommunications firm a preferred brand by ensuring that its services were more effective and accessible.

At Nigerian Wire and Cable, the chairman who was told that the company had in its warehouse products worth N200 million produced within two weeks, charged the management team to rekindle the company’s image by putting in place necessary machinery for awareness creation saying “there is no use producing quality products which the market is not aware of, hence the need to mount an awareness/market.
