Laureates College, the high brow secondary school at Aviation Estate, off Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, Lagos last weekend honoured seasoned actress, Ms Joke Silva at a colourful graduation ceremony at the College Hall.

Also honoured include Engr. Ikechukwu Chukwuneke, the man reputedly to build the biggest church in the world with a sitting capacity of 50,000.00 without any visible supporting pillars.

Equally honoured was Architect Oluseun Odeyale another silent achiever whose architectural master pieces dots the landscape of Lagos, Abuja and other places.

Presenting the award, chairman of Laureates College, Engr. Foluseke Somolu said the recognition of the trio was in appreciation of their contributions to their various fields of endeavours.

Ms Joke Silva was particularly recognized for the panache she has brought unto acting and production both on screen and on stage.  The school found her worthy of the award, for the impact her excellent acting career has on the life of the young ones.

Engr. Chukwuneke, who design and construction  of Faith Tabernacle in Sango Ota earned him a place in the Guinness book of records was appreciated for the uncommon feat.

His engineering endeavours have always been laced with excellent feat “and this synchronizes with the motto of Laureates College” Engr. Somolu said while handling him his award plaque.

Earlier, the principal of the school, Mr.Ogunsola had reeled out the achievements of the school in the last seven years to include both curricular and co-curricular achievements.
