Amuneke, Ugbade, Amadi are assistants
The Nigeria Football Federation yesterday announced the appointment of Manu Garba as head coach of the national U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets. He is to be assisted by former international, Emmanuel Amuneke.

In a six-point communique issued after an emergency meeting in Abuja yesterday, the executive committee of the NFF said it endorsed the recommendation, following a thorough interview process, of its Technical Committee for the re-constitution of the technical crew of the U-17 National Team (Boys) with Manu Garba as head Coach; Emmanuel Amuneke – Assistant Coach 1 while Nduka Ugbade will serve as assistant Coach 2. Emeka Amadi will work in the crew as goalkeepers’ trainer.

The NFF board also discussed the alleged match-fixing saga regarding Imo United and mandated the Imo FA to investigate, with painstaking approach, and report back within 14 days
