*Bishop David Oyedepo
Last week, I taught on a principal component of the engine for your flight to a world of no limits-the Word of God. We saw how God’s Word can make one to enjoy breakthrough unlimited. Also, I showed you how to tap the goodies in the Word through meditation, in order to enjoy a world of no limits. This is a summary of that teaching.
This week, I will show you the importance of the Spirit of Wisdom, in enjoying a world of no limits. The Holy Spirit of God is the engine for the flight to a world of no limits. However, this is made possible by the Spirit of wisdom.
Jude 25 says: “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.” God’s wisdom is incomparable.
It is normal for a child of man to access the wisdom of man. Also, a child of God has to be fired up for this Spirit of wisdom. God’s wisdom is one of the spiritual instruments for breakthrough unlimited (Daniel 12:3).
For instance, it was on the wings of the Spirit of wisdom that Joseph rose from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41: 38). Joseph took over on the wings of the Spirit of wisdom in Egypt!
Another person that enjoyed a world of no limits was Daniel. He never lost value all through his time of captivity. He rode on the wings of wisdom to the top. God’s wisdom is mysterious (I Corinthians 2:7). The Word of God is the gateway to a glorious destiny. Eyes have not seen what God’s wisdom has in store for you (I Corinthians 2:9-10). Nothing flies like the Spirit of wisdom at work in the life of a person. For instance, Joshua was filled with the Spirit of wisdom.
His authority was established by the Spirit of wisdom. No wonder, Deuteronomy 34:9 says of him: “And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearken-ed unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.”
Divine wisdom is supreme (Job 28:8-19, 20-23). It is the most valuable asset in the affairs of life. It is a solution-bearing force. The Spirit of wisdom is your access to the wisdom of God. There is no intellectual capability that can unravel the mystery behind Daniel’s excellent spirit (Daniel 6:3). This wisdom is ordained for your glory. It is ordained for you to enjoy a world of no limits.
Characteristics of the Spirit of wisdom:
1. It is called an excellent Spirit (Daniel 6:3).
2. It is called the Spirit of sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).
3. It empowers your mind for sound discretion (Psalm 112:5). This is the capacity to generate solutions to bugging questions of life.
4. It is innovative and creative. It is able to generate practical solutions and inventions. No wonder, Proverbs 8:12 says: “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.”
For instance, David was as smart as an angel (II Samuel 14:17). Also, Job traded the secret of God. The Spirit of wisdom provides access to God’s secrets. That was what made Job!
Your Access to the Spirit of wisdom:
The love of God: The love of God is your covenant access to the Spirit of God. For instance, Genesis 42:18 says: “And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God.” The man called Joseph feared (loved) God. This was what paved the way for him in accessing the Spirit and wisdom of God.
Also, Daniel was a crazy lover of God. He loved God to death! No wonder, he enjoyed the wisdom of God, which enabled him to enjoy a world of no limits in his time.
Song of Solomon 8:6 says: “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.” Love is as strong as death. Love is your access to the wisdom of God.
