The real estate market in highbrow Ikoyi, Lagos has been boosted with the completion of Ikoyi Luxury Gardens. The estate which sits on a 3,800 square metres parcel of land at Alexander Street, was designed by a Canadian architectural firm, Messrs Great Earth Architects.
Disclosing these to Property writers in Lagos last week, Mr Kunmi Odufuye, the Project Manager of Tadop Properties Limited, the company which built the estate, said the project is the maiden estate developed by the company.
Essentially, The Luxury Gardens, as the estate is called, comprises of three blocks of 15 units of four-bedroom flats and five units of penthouses. The three blocks come in five, six and seven floors respectively.
Flaunting the unique features of The Luxury Gardens, Mr Odufuye said, the rooms are centrally air-conditioned. “The Luxury Gardens is an elegant and beautifully designed development set on a 3,875m2 land at 7B Alexander Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos, comprising three (3) blocks of twenty (20) opulent housing units made up of fifteen tastefully finished and modern lifestyle equipped apartments and five magnificent penthouses with rooftop patio and garden designed with exquisite fixtures.
Each block is a unique blend of contemporary epoch structure designed to satisfy the needs of every apartment owner. The services are world class, the building is energy conserving and fitted with the latest technology in fire insulation. The complex also features a standard gymnasium and suspended swimming pool with countless opportunities for one to spend leisure time. We have a central sewage, boreholes with central water treatment plant and two units of 1,000KVA generators.
The windows are aluminium profiles while the roofs are from Nigerite,” he said. With only about 30 percent of the land area built up, Mr Odufuye said, provision has been made for a a car park (for about 40 vehicles) as well as wireless internet and DSTV.
While the penthouses which have state-of the art facilities attract a negotiable price of N325 million, the four-bedroom flats are being sold for N180 million.
Mr Odufuye said Messrs Alpha Mead Nigeria limited has been contracted as facility managers to the complex. According to him, the company has sold about 50 percent of the houses, while the buyers will soon move in.
