LAGOS — Samsung  Electronics West Africa, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, yesterday, in Lagos, unveiled Samsung first solar panel net book in the world.

The new product is a lightweight portable device that is environmental and pocket friendly.

Speaking at the launch, IT Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Chioma Iwuckukwu-Nweke, said the new product was specifically designed for Africa, to help busy people, who must work on-the-go, and for tech savvy individuals, who seek to increase the turn around time of their work.

She said:“NC215S is packed with the latest mobile technology for optimized performance and ease of use on-the-go. It provides the optimum balance of functionality, energy efficiency and a safe environment.”

Besides, it allows users to create rich media content so they can quickly share and enjoy music, pictures, video and files from almost any modern device and also uses significantly less power for a much longer battery life of 14 hours. The LCD screen display lets you enjoy sharp images in best colours even when you’re outdoors,” she said.
