PORT HARCOURT – Director-General, Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, Ms. Arumna Oteh, has rated Rivers State Governor, Mr. Chibuike Amaechi, high on human and infrastructural development.
Oteh, during a tour of project sites, commended the governor for his drive to transform all sectors of the state by providing basic infrastructure.
She said: “Gov. Amaechi has demonstrated a clear vision and determination to promote human capital development through the provision of basic infrastructure and facilities that have direct bearing on the quality of life of the citizenry.
“The transformation in healthcare delivery, education, security, transport, agriculture and road construction are visible in every part of the state.
“Amaechi’s strategy of dialoguing and engaging stakeholders in policy formulation is a strategic approach and it is important for the overall development of the state and country.”
Presenting a paper on transformational leadership at a SEC retreat in Port Harcourt, Amaechi tasked leaders in positions of trust to eschew corruption and personal aggrandizement.
