Kano – Hundreds of customers besieged banks, Tuesday, in Kano to withdraw money ahead of the NLC planned warning strike.
Most banks were forced to work beyond their usual closing hours to meet the demands of their customers as there was also increased activities in major markets in the commercial city.
Vanguard findings further revealed panic buying of fuel by motorists.
Officials of the NLC had earlier warned residents on taking precautionary measures to avoid been caught off guard which perhaps explained the panic buying of fuel and food stuffs in the ancient city.
