ETISALAT Nigeria has expanded its reach to Edo State, with the unveiling of its Experience centre in the Benin, the state capital.
Governor Adams Oshiomhole, while welcoming the customer service initiative by Etisalat in Edo, said it created avenue for the company to power with the state in creating employment opportunities for the people of the state.
“If more offices are opened here, definitely more of our people will be employed, which will in turn ensure that Edo State remains in the picture, as Etisalat creates more opportunities,” said Oshiomhole’s Special Adviser on commerce, Mr. Osato Ize-Iyamu.
Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Steven Evans, represented by the Chief Financial Officer, Abhulimen Ehiagwina, thanked the people of the state for their “massive support for Etisalat,” with the promise that the company will in turn deliver on service and its responsibilities to residents of Edo.
According to him, “The unveiling of the newest addition to the chain of our Experience centres spanning all over the country showcases our desire to constantly connect and bring our array of innovative products and services to our customers in a manner that encourages direct engagement.
“Our presence here today is also evidence in our desire to consolidate our presence in the ancient city of Benin that is filled with historical charm. Again, we constantly deploy effective means of enhancing our products and services to enhance users’ experience hence the decision to maintain closer reach with our customers.
