Seventy-nine ships, laden with various items, are expected to sail into the Lagos ports between June 22 and July 15. This was contained in the shipping position made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos by the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA).
NPA, however, said that the report was subject to change daily. It said that the ships would berth at the following terminals: Ibafon New Oil Jetty, Five Stars, Capital, APM Terminal, Ports and Terminal Multiservices Ltd. and Tin-Can Island Containers. According to the shipping position, 27 of the 79 ships are laden with empty containers.
