Former Group Managing Director, United Bank for Africa Plc, Mr. Tony Elumelu and Dr. Julius Kpaduwa have been appointed into the Board of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) Plc.

The company, according to a notice presented to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Friday, declared that Kpaduwa’s appointment took effect from March 2011, while Elumelu’s appointment took effect from April 2011.

According to the notice, Dr. Kpaduwa holds a degree in Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C. United States of America and is a Fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Also, a Physician and Surgeon at California Licensure, he was until this appointment the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer Julius C. Kpaduwa, Medical Corporation.
