In the same vein, investigation into the discovery of the body of a Pastor in its decomposing state in his Ejigbo abode, has begun by the Lagos State Police Command.
So far, sources hinted that the Police were yet to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide . But they have ruled out the possibility of the cleric identified as Ezekeil Abobarin , being murdered as there was reportedly no injury on his body to suggest that. There was also , no trace of strangulation or any rope found in the room to suggest he could have committed suicide.
The unusual absence of the 51-year-old cleric from church, for three days sparked off suspicion as his telephones were reportedly switched off.. His absence which was initially taken as his observation of quiet moment to be with his God ,later aroused curiosity, following which policemen from Ejigbo were contacted.
The policemen’s first port of call was the Pastor’s apartment at number 25, Falana Street, which was locked behind. After several knocks on the door without response, the door was forced open and everyone was stunned at the startling discovery of the cleric’s body in its decomposing state. His family members were said to have taken the body for burial.
