The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has mobilised stakeholders in disaster management to strengthen aeronautic search and rescue operations in Nigeria.

Director-General NEMA, Muhammad Sani-Sidi said the move was to ensure safer air travels and consolidate the recent favourable rating of Nigeria as a category one nation on the international air safety by the International Civil Aviation Organisation, ICAO.
