Cowbell NASSMAC results out

Results of the just concluded first stage examination of the 2011 Cowbell National Secondary Schools Mathematics competition which took place on Saturday, March 19, 2011, was released on the website on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011.

The competition which has been on for eleven (11) years had over 30,000 students in both categories sitting for the first stage examination in 200 centres across all geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

All participating candidates are advised to log on to www.promasidor-ng.com; visit the Ministry of Education or Promasidor Nigeria Limited offices and depots nationwide to check their results.

The Overall best student in the junior category Pan Nigeria is Sanni Mardhiyah, Twelve (12) years old, female of Ota Total Academy Ogun State, with a score of 96%, while the senior category produced three students with the highest score of 86% Pan Nigeria.

They are Akindele Oyetobi, a 15 year old, Male from Iganmode Grammar School, Ogun State; Charles Nwokotubo, a 13 year Old, Male from Graceland International School, Port Harcourt; and Anioke Vincent, a 14 year Old Male from Nigerian Turkish International School, Abuja.

Arrangements are already in advanced stage to contact and reward 222 students that emerged as winners (Top three (3) students in each state) in the first stage examination. The first prize winner will receive the sum of N25, 000, while the 2nd and 3rd prize winners will receive N20, 000 and N15, 000 respectively.

All overall best students (first Prize winners) in each state for both the junior and senior categories have been duly notified and invited for the final stage of the competition which comes up Saturday, 4th of June 2011 in four key cities (Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Port-Harcourt)

They will also receive a certificate of recognition, statement of results, branded school bags, note books, pens, cowbell milk, etc. Their teachers are also not left out as they would each receive N15, 000 for producing these stars.
