Following the release of team list by both the Argentine and Super Eagles coaches for the much talked about international friendly match between Nigeria and Argentina on June 1, at the Abuja National Stadium, former Super Eagles star, Etim Esin has stated that defeating the Albiceleste will put the Eagles in good spirit in advance for the all important Africa Nations Cup qualifier against the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on June 5.
“Beating them will be one of the greatest motivations for the boys ahead of the Ethiopia tie. If we win, it will build our national team confidence. So I expect Samson Siasia to tell the boys to put up a good fight. The match against Argentina is one of those warm up matches that is good for the tea.

“We cannot underrate the Argentines even if they are coming with a squad that is without the names we all expected. Whosoever puts on the jersey for Argentina is a talent and I cannot write off whosoever they will be fielding that day,” Esin said.
