LAGOS-Crisis is looming in the densely populated Ajegunle area of Lagos, following a renewed fight between two groups over power tussle in one of the areas.
Two persons have reportedly lost their lives in the fight, while scores of others have sustained varying degree of injuries.
Vanguard gathered that fight broke out two weeks ago, when a member of one of the factions was attacked during a carnival. A reprisal attack from the other faction reportedly resulted in the death of one.
However, when residents of the area were just smarting from the resultant stampede, another fight broke out, weekend, during which dangerous weapons were freely used by both factions. At the end, one Sherif Alli was reportedly killed.
Commenting on the crisis, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, said four persons had so far been arrested.
Jinadu disclosed that the fight was between two groups, AJ1 and Senior Boys .
