The die is cast. A chapter in the history book of Nigeria’s political development has been opened for today, April 2 2011. After much controversy and doubt, great expectation and equally palpable fear of the unknown, Nigeria is set to once again test her will as a democratic nation.
The road to today’s election and others that will follow in the weeks to come has been rough and cloudy. Those who will vote today in the National Assembly election will cast their vote for their candidates, their constituencies and for our heroes past so that their labour shall not be in vain.
Vanguard invites you to be part of today’s history by telling the world what is happening in your area as Nigerians vote today. What are your observations and comments concerning the election? What’s happening in you area? Comments should be brief, frank and to the point.
Readers are invited to post news, photos and videos of elections or events they find interesting for the world to see at Vanguard’s highly interactive community.
