After years of being no where in the spot light, singer Aikay Nwelue a.k.a Singerholic is making a comeback.
Showtime recently ran into this lyrics-toting commander who was full of good news and an unreserved apology for fans. Singerholic had vanished into thin air shortly after his hit single Ike hit the market and started making waves.
He said: “I must apologise first to my fans because I know that somehow, I let them down having not come back on time.
But I’ll make it up to them with a great album titled ‘Singamania’. It’s not yet in the market because I still have two or three songs to go before it is ready. I really can’t say when it will be coming out but I want to start promotion really soon before the album drops”
Singer said he had disappeared due to personal issues that wasn’t far from the hassles of life. He told us there will be twelve or thirteen songs on the new album.
“I have like eighteen songs already, but I would like to have a total of twenty one and then select the best twelve or thirteen for the album.”
He said he is not bothered with his long spell of silence except if it would hinder his marketability. “I’m not bothered in anyway. A good song is a good song.”
