In appreciation of the contributions of its dealers and partners across the country to the successes and growth of its business in 2010, Samsung Mobile last week, in a ceremonial atmosphere, feted its dealers to hobnob with them on issues of mutual benefit.
Tagged Samsung Mobile Dealer event, the company scheduled it to hold in three different centres across the country including, Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The first leg of the three tier event kicked off in Lagos at the Best Western Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, weekend.
President of Samsung West Africa, Jinuk Shin at the event, said that his company was hosting its dealers to thank them for their unflinching support and contributions toward the growth of the company.
“Today’s event is our little way of showing our appreciation to our partners who have stood by us these past years and have contributed immensely to the success of our business. Samsung is a successfully growing brand today because of your support, belief and commitment towards ensuring that our numerous consumers continue to have access to their choice brand.”
According to him, the company was making every effort to improve the relationship with its dealers through continuous marketing and promotional support to help increase the sales of the brand in the market place.
He listed some of the several initiatives to drive the company’s commitment to the channel partners as improved quarterly incentives with bonus on extra performance, huge investment in retail with branded shops concept, increased sales force teams, in_store promoters and several experienced managers all employed to serve the dealers better.
He noted that over the past couple of months, Samsung has been bringing to the market exciting products, including the Samsung Chat 322 phone; Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab16, Galaxy S and Galaxy 5 among others that cut across low, mid and high end devices.
