The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has denied a newspaper publication by the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), alleging that it was planning to circulate a nude photograph of their governorship candidate, Senator Gbemisola Saraki.
In a statement, PDP described the allegation by ACPN as malicious and a calculated attempt to paint it in a bad light.
PDP, however, advised ACPN to concentrate on how to sell their candidates and the party to the electorate instead of resorting to cheap blackmail in the name of politics.
“PDP has no business or otherwise in the circulation of a nude photograph of a candidate, rather its focus is on how to consolidate on the dividends of democracy already put in place by the PDP-led government in the state,” it stated.
