Head Coach of the national U-20 team, Flying Eagles, Sam John Obuh on Friday picked VVV Venlo of Holland’s rapid raider Ahmed Musa and 20 others to represent Nigeria for the 17th African Youth Championship taking place in South Africa between 17th April and 1st May, 2011.

Obuh’s final list includes three goalkeepers, seven defenders, four midfielders and seven strikers.
The team, which spanked Premier League club Sharks FC 3_1 in its last tune_up game in Port Harcourt on Thursday, will now travel to Johannesburg aboard an Arik Air flight on Thursday
night.

Nigeria is in Group B of the tournament alongside world champions Ghana, Cameroon and The Gambia. Nigeria’s first match of the tournament is on Monday, 18th April against the Black Satellites of Ghana at the Rand Stadium.
