NCR Nigeria Plc has introduced a number of cutting edge security and dispute management solutions for Automated Teller Machines (ATM) that will enable banks in the country meet up with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s guidelines for ATM.
According to a statement by the company, the solutions, which were presented to participants at the Self-Service Innovation Forum for stakeholders in the financial industry, in Lagos, weekend, are required by every bank to meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
The statement noted that the cutting-edge NCR technological innovations in the ATM industry made available to banks include: Biometric ATM, Cardless cash deposit ATM, FOREX ATM, ATM-to-ATM Money Transfer, Teller Cash Recycler, Kiosks, Solidcore, dispute management tools among others.
The statement noted that the solutions are designed to enable financial institutions, NCR resellers and industry players in the country develop multi-channel strategy and provide them with thought-provoking concepts for an effective, efficient and a more secured plan of operation in the management of ATMs.
