LAGOS – A middle-aged man identified as Rafael Ikechukwu Maduabuchi has been arrested by the police in Lagos State for allegedly stabbing a foreigner to death. Police sources identified the foreigner as one Tonny Gavaro, a Spaniard.

This came on the heels of the dismissal of a  Police Constable for allegedly conniving with two others to rob a foreign national. His partner in crime,  who is also a policeman, is currently facing orderly room trial and may be dismissed as well.

The ex-Constable, Ochei Andrew, was paraded along side an employee of the Taiwan national, at the Lagos State Police command headquarters, Ikeja,yesterday .

The command boss, Mr Suleiman Abba, who expressed disappointment over the incident, said Steven’s dismissal from the Force was a clear indication that the Force has no skeleton in its cupboard to hide.”
