CAF appoints refs for Enyimba, Sunshine

The claims by Nigerian clubs in the preceding round that they were saddled by French speaking referees has taken a positive twist as CAF has released officials for the next round of CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup whose first leg comes up next week end throughout the continent.

Kaduna United will host ESS of Tunisia in Kaduna with South African referees in charge.

The world Cup quartet of Benneth Daniel, Molefe Enock, Somi Luyanda and Ebrahim Abdul Basit have been saddled with the match. When Kaduna United travel out for the return leg on May 8 they will find fellow West Africans from Burkina Faso in control in the persons of Il Boudo Serge, Pare Adolphe Adama, Bado Noel and Sanon Albert.
Sunshine Stars on the other hand are in a fixture that is purely ECOWAS as they face Union Sportive de Force Armee ( USFA ) of Burkina Faso with referees from Ghana and Togo.

In the first leg match next week end in Ijebu Ode, the Akure soccer lords will face the Army outfit with Togolese referees Djaoupe Kokou, Bana Cherif Mollah, Avisse Kokou and Sedjo Kossi in charge.

For the return leg in Ouagadougou, Ghanaian Lamptey George comes out of a six months suspension to handle proceedings with compatriots Laryea David, Badiu Ibrahim Adams and Gyasi Samuel Koffi.
