ADO EKITI-LESS than four days to the presidential election, PDP has accused ACN of perfecting plans to rig both the state House of Assembly as well as the rescheduled National Assembly elections in the state.
A statement by the party’s Director of Communication and Strategy, Mr. Jackson Adebayo called on the Inspector General of Police, Director General of State Security Service and the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission to arrest those behind the criminal act
But the Special Adviser on Political Matters and inter-party relations to Governor Kayode Fayemi, Mr. Tosin Olotu, dismissed PDP’s allegation as the figment of the imagination of its authors.
The PDP further alleged that two rigging plans were being executed in the state by ACN through the apparatus of the government; one of which it said was the collection of the fingerprints of the civil servants in the local government and the state mainstream.
