2 sisters kidnapped in Delta

ASABA-TWO sisters were, weekend, kidnapped by a gang of kidnappers in Delta State.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Charles Muka, who confirmed the incident to Vanguard, however, said reprieve came their way while their abductors were taken them to their hideout for possible demand of ransom.

According to Muka, “Delta State Police Command  rescued the two sisters , Ogbokeme Eniekeye, female, 17 and Incia Ogbokeme, female, 7, from kidnappers in Owian Aladja.

“They were on motorcycle heading for Otor Udu, when four armed kidnapers accosted them and forced them into a car. Aladja patrol team got information and pursued them to  Orhuwhorun Junction Aladja, where the kidnappers realised that  the police were closing up on them, stopped and abandoned the victims and fled.”

He added that “efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspects.”
