IBADAN – GOVERNOR Adebayo ALao-Akala of Oyo State has faulted the rising political influence of the former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, saying he avoided contesting the presidential election for fear of being rejected by Nigerians.
He said it was the fear that made him support the candidacy of the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
Akala said these at a rally he held to further launder his image as the right person to occupy the Agodi Government House after April election.
The rally which held at Orita Challenge, Oluyole Local Government of the state had in attendance his deputy, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja, Mr. Depo Oyedokun, a member of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan (Oluyole Caretaker Chairman).
