Ribadu, Adeola, Fashola blame nation’s woes on corruption

LAGOS – Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Presidential Candidate, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and his vice, Mr. Fola Adeola and Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state, have blamed the ineffectiveness of the 1999 constitution, epileptic power supply and others on the high rate of corruption in the country.

They made this known while responding to questions at the youth town hall meeting held at the civic centre, Victoria Island, Lagos state.

They said that corruption has been the clog in the wheel of the country’s effort to gain its rightful place in the world.

Ribadu said: “The constitution will not work in Nigeria, as long as there is corruption. As long as we have leaders who will convert those resources into their personal use”.
