Ilorin – THE founder of the Living Faith Church, a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has predicted that next month’s general elections in the country will run smoothly.
Oyedepo, who spoke yesterday in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State at the commissioning of Landmark University, a private university owned by the church of which he is the chancellor explained that the political parties were just tenants while Nigerians are the landlords, hence all Nigerians should ensure security of lives and property .
Oyedepo said education played a vital role in making a good choice at critical period like this because it is unimaginable why anybody would sell his right of choice to vote for any amount of money mortgaging his future and that of the country..
He urged Nigerians to vote for the candidate of their choice during the election even as he believed that it is proper for pastors to go into politics because it is a game of the public.
According to him, politics is a business for whoever chooses to participate in it, adding that anybody can go into politics even if such person is Imam, Pastor or even Pope.
