NDLEA Director dies at 54

A Director of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Mr. Adesola Abiodun, aged 54, is dead.
Abiodun, Director of Technical Services, Assistant Commander General of Narcotics, ACGN, died on Tuesday March 1, in a Lagos hospital shortly after the close of work.

Saddened by the sudden demise of the newly promoted director, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the Agency, Ahmadu Giade  described his death as shocking and painful.

Giade said the Agency had lost one of its best officers who was versed in both administrative and operational affairs.

In his tribute, the NDLEA boss said: “We are deeply shocked by the sad incident. He was an articulate and seasoned journalist with a rare gift of the garb. A Commander versed in both administrative and operational affairs.”
