N/Assembly Elections: Goje tasks traditional rulers, others on security

 Ahead of Saturday’s parliamentary polls, the Gombe State governor, Alhaji Mohammad Danjuma Goje has enjoined  traditional rulers, leaders of Islamic and Christian groups across the state to ensure that peace and tranquillity reigns in their respective domains during and after the elections.
 
The governor who addressed the royal fathers and the religious leaders at different locations within the confines of Government House said as leaders of highly respected institutions, they command enduring influence on their followers and subjects.

Goje urged them to impress it upon their subjects that conducting themselves in the most acceptable manner during the elections would ensure a free, fair and credible election in the state, stressing that violence is an ill wind that blows no one any good.
