Delta moves to regularise flights at Asaba Airport

WARRI – THE Delta State Government is in consultation with three airlines to regularise flight operations at the Asaba International Airport, Vanguard can authoritatively report.

This was revealed in Warri by the Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Bernard Okumagba, during the handing over of 21 motor-bikes to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, faithful in Okumagba Wards I and II to boost their well being.

He said that the affected airlines are Arik, Aero and Over Land Airlines, adding that the state government had put machineries in motion in this year’s budget to construct more  roads in the Okere Urhobo area of Warri.

According to him, “party leaders in Okere Urhobo had told DESOPADEC to concentrate in Warri Urhobo because, they are also part of the oil-producing communities in the state.”

While calling on the people of Okere Urhobo to continue to vote and support the PDP, he added that “Urhobo has never had it so good since  Uduaghan took over.”

He  noted that PDP had brought development to Okere Urhobo through water and road projects.
