Court charges Ogun CP, 5 others with contempt

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police and five others, may be committed to prison by a Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, for alleged disregard to the orders of court, made on June 1, 2010 involving the occupation and possession of a premise situated at Plot 3, Block X, Ota, Industrial Estate, Ogun State.

The court has, meanwhile, adjourned till April 4, 2011, for hearing of the contempt application by the plaintiff and the Receiver/Manager of the first defendant (Tiffany), Mr. Olusegun Adesokan, lawfully appointed by WEMA Bank Plc, by virtue of deed of appointment dated December 30, 2009.

Joined as respondents in the contempt proceedings, are the Area Police Commander, Ota Area Command, Hardeep Nigeria Limited, Sonhart Investments Limited, a Lagos based lawyer, Oluwole Koya and Mr. Duke Efenu.
