ABUJA — PRESIDENT of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Isa Salami, has instructed his lawyers to terminate the legal proceeding he initiated against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloysius Katsina Alu, following plans to elevate him to the Supreme Court bench.
In a Notice of Discontinuance of the suit, filed on his behalf by his lead counsel, Chief Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, Justice Salami maintained that it was needless to go ahead with the matter since the issue in controversy has been resolved.
