Group rallies for Jonathan in Delta

WARRI, the commercial nerve centre of Delta State came alive, yesterday, as coordinators of the Neighbour to Neighbour Project from the 25 local government areas of the state, converged on the city to galvanise  grassroot support for the Goodluck/Sambo ticket in time for the forth coming April Presidential election, even as it hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the two days extension of the voters registration exercise.

The Neighbour to Neighbour Project, a non-profit, non-government organisation founded on the tenants of democracy and promotion of good governance. Addressing the gathering, Elder Godsday Orubebe, Minister of Niger Delta and Deputy Director General, Goodluck/Sambo Campaign Organisation urged members to work hard to ensure the election of President Goodluck Jonathan at the April polls.

Speaking through the Delta State Coordinator of the Neighbour to Neighbour Project, Dr Tony Akabuno, Orube who also function as the National President of the project, noted that the Neighbour to Neighbour movement has become an integral arm of the Goodluck/Sambo campaign organization.
