Carat Media Perspectives,Carat MP, has announced the appointment of new hands and promotion of seven (7) of its staff.

Remi Olugbemi

The affected staff are Mrs. Remi Olugbemi, Group Head, Strategy/Planning. Prior to this new appointment, he was with OMD MediaReach as Senior Manager where he worked on major brands including; Dettol, Harp, Gordon’s Spark, Cowbell Milk, Mortein and other Reckitt Benckiser brands. Remi, a seasoned media strategist/planner cut his teeth in the advertising profession at Insight Communications Ltd. Mr. Jude Odia also joins Carat MP as Group Head, Strategy/Planning from his previous position as Group Head, Brand Management, FinBank Plc. Among his accomplishments while at FinBank was the management of the bank’s rebranding from FirstInland Bank to FinBank in 2008.

Before moving to the bank, he had worked in Lowe Lintas, Initiative Media and Capital Media where he demonstrated outstanding professional and leadership capacity. With over eight-years hands-on experience, Jude started his career in Broadcasting with Minaj Broadcast International before venturing into Integrated Marketing Communications. His experience in the media, cuts across brands such as; MTN, Close-Up, Omo, Maltina, Diamond Bank Plc, Mimee Noodles, Coca-Cola and several others.

Chinedu Ugwu joins Carat MP as Senior Media Executive (Planning). He started his professional career with Martlink Advertising where he moved to Sloane Advertising in 2004. In 2008, Chinedu joined OMD MediaReach and in his ten years experience in the advertising industry, he has worked on brands such as; Indomie Noodle, Noble Carpet, Enchateur, Gervene Powder and Reckitt Benckiser brands. Dolapo Ogunbambo was a Senior Media Executive now a Media Manager, while Jude Oparaeke was also a Senior Media Executive and now a Media Manager. Sesan Abimbola who becomes Associate Media Director, Strategy and in this capacity, he functions as Business Unit Head on the Procter & Gamble account in West Africa. Sesan has nine years experience on the job starting with Mart Link Advertising where he moved to Explicit Communications and later Carat MP in 2005 as a Senior Media Executive from where he rose to the position of Associate Media Director. During these years Sesan has worked on multinational accounts such as; Neimeth PLC, DHL, Wema Bank, Oando, Shell, Heineken, Amstel Malta, Gulder, Zain, among others. Okwudiri Iheonunekwu becomes a Media Group Head from Senior Media Manager, while Promise Oduh, Victor Achudume and Esther David-Oladoye moved from Senior Executives to Media Managers (Planning, Digital and Research respectively); Jimmy Babatunde and Igwe Okeke Igwe from Planners to Senior planners; and Chukwudi Ebaogwu who becomes Senior Media Executive from previous position as Media Executive.
