Agamene for burial Saturday

FORMER President of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, Comrade Wariebi Kojo Agamene, will be buried this Saturday at his home town, Amasoma, Bayelsa State.

The ex-NUPENG’s President died October last year.

A statement by the General Secretary of NUPENG, Comrade Elijah Okougbo, said: “The burial rites and ceremony of the former NUPENG President during the June 12, 1993 crisis, Comrade Wariebi Kojo Agamene will start on February 10, 2011 in Amasoma, in Bayelsa State. The former President, who was known as the ‘Living Lion’ will be laid to rest in his home town, Amasoma, Bayelsa State and is expected to attract prominent labour stalwarts from all over the Country. The Late Agamene is survived by hi wife and children.”
