All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, gubernatorial candidate in Abia State in the April general elections, Reagan Ufomba, has vowed to take over the governance of the state come May 29, 2011.
He said: “The race has just begun and the mission is to change the government of the day. The name of the game is change and there must be change in Abia State because Abia people are tired of excuses of why we failed. This is the time to succeed.
“This is the time to bring about the security of lives and property in Abia. This is the time to bring about extensive infrastructural development in Abia. This is the time to make Abia people proud. That much I am going to do. I promise that I will not let APGA and Abia people down.”
“It is with humility that I accept the challenge of being the flag bearer of our party in the state. We are going to work together to build the party. What is important is that APGA takes over Government Housed in May, 2011”, Ufomba declared shortly after emerging the party’s candidate at the primaries he defeated Dr. Max Adindu, who promptly accepted defeat and pledged to work with Ufomba to win the state for the party.
