Sunshine Stars Team Manager,  Gabriel Aboruwa has said that hard work by his team and prayers to God would give them the expected three points in Sunday’s Nigerian Premier League Week 10 encounter against Kwara United at the Gateway International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.

Making this known to Saturday Vanguard Sports, Aboruwa said he believes in God for victory.“I believe in working hard and prayers, so if we work hard in training then we can pray to God for victory which I know He (God) would not deny us. I do not believe in anything else,” he said.

Commenting on the reason for the team’s success in her nine matches which places them second  in the log, Aboruwa said it is seriously God’s doing, giving them a Governor that loves football, a management that is concerned with the players welfare and a  sound technical crew.

“First, it is God, secondly  His sent Governor who loves sports, precisely football, thirdly the management which is very good; they understand football administration.”

“With God on our side, victory is certain. If we could defeat Plateau United in Jos, and also winning most of our home games, I see no reason why we cannot beat Kwara United on Sunday in Ojebu-Ode. We are not under-estimating any team, but with the form of the team, God on our side and we playing at home, you do not expect us to lose.”

“The game is going to be very tough and interesting as expected with high technical and tactical input from both benches,” he stressed.
