Rangers vow to score more goals

By Kate Obodo

Enugu Rangers were at their best last weekend when they defeated Zamfara United 5-1 in week 6  of the Nigeria Premier League season, and the Enugu based side say they intend to do more in subsequent matches especially their game with Bukola Babes today.

According to the Foster Chime, media of officer of Rangers, the management have promised to do all they can to make sure things are in proper shape by making sure the players are happy. Adding that the government also has assured the club that the issue of sign-on fee will taken care of.

“Our victory over Zamfara is not our first big win, we have done it before. The secret is our strikers.  We have good attackers. Again the true is that  sometimes you win, why other days you lose I think that was what happened.

“That victory has lifted the players spirit and they eager to do more especially playing against our opponent Bukola Babes today. The management are doing every thing to make sure the players are happy.

And the boys are committed. “To sustain this, we need  to motivate them financially, their salaries, sign-on and other important needs of the players.

Also, the governor has assured that he will pay players sign-on fee. Once we pay these incentives they will give nothing but their best,” he concluded.
