President Jonathan urges John Togo to surrender

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan Friday at Ayakoromo, Burutu local government council of Delta State charged militant leader, John Togo to voluntarily surrender himself to the military Joint Task Force, JTF, to save innocent civilians from unwarranted hardship.

Speaking through the Minister of the Niger Delta Ministry Affairs, Elder Goodsday Orubebe who donated relief materials worth millions of naira, Orubebe said nobody or group could fight government no matter how prepared they made be.

Elder Orubebe said it was unreasonable for any Ijaw man to engage in militancy in the face of the massive developmental projects being put in place across the region by the President Jonathan administration, adding that “there can be no better time than now with the Presidency in the hands of a Niger Deltan”, and call for their support at all times.
