We hereby apologise to our Muslim  readers for the stray comments on our  website which were insensitive  to  Islam and the faithfuls. As we labour every minute of the day for clean, safe copies, some unscrupulous persons still exploit the huge traffic on the website to  abuse the freedom of speech by  making comments that hurt other people’s beliefs.

This is highly regrettable. We restate here, our highest regard and respect for Islam,  our  Muslims brothers and the prophets (SAW). We equally appeal to our Online commentators to stick strictly to issues and avoid attacks on persons and institutions as such would henceforth be kept off Vanguard website.
