With the exit of new Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia from Heartland FC, the Imo State team say they have drafted two of its feeder team coaches to handle Heartland, till they are able to get quality replacement for Siasia, whose engagement by the NFF took quite some time.
At a point, Siasia thought he could hold on to his job in Owerri while he builds a new Super Eagles team that will wipe away the tears of Lars Lagerback Eagles. But the NFF stood its ground and Siasia went for the bigger carrot.
As a result of that, Heartland will have to scout for a quality coach to lead the team till the end of the present season.
Heartland Media Officer Cajethan Nkwopara revealed that they had no other option for now other than to fall back on their feeder team for coaches and added that both coaches so far are doing well.
Meanwhile, the Naze Warriors have moved into their new office inside the Dan Ayiam Stadium. According to Nkwopara the move became necessary because the Naze camp of the team is under going renovation.
