DHL Dream Parcel Promotion produces first winner

DHL Express, the world’s leading express company, has announced the first winner in the Dream Parcel Promo Campaign. Mr. Monday Bature, an employee of the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD), Abuja, was the first winner of the draw held in Lagos.

At the presentation ceremony in Abuja, Agency and Service Point Manager (North), DHL Express Nigeria, Mr. Charles Eke, said the prize presentation is a reaffirmation of DHL’s commitment to transparency and integrity in all engagement with customers.

He said that the emergence of the winner through a transparent draw procedure will enhance public confidence in DHL’s Dream Parcel Promo. “We are also delighted that the prizes we have sponsored for the promotion will not only benefit the winner, but would be an asset that can be shared with colleagues, to be used and enjoyed by the institute for the social well-being of the entire staff.”

He advised other Nigerians to take advantage of  the rewards by participating in the Dream Parcel Promo, which he noted is ‘DHL’s way of celebrating Nigeria’s 50th anniversary and the exceptional optimism that has been the hallmark of the people of Nigeria”

Mrs. Oluremi Bako, Marketing and Communications Manager, DHL Nigeria said, “the winner emerged from a draw of all loyalty cards submitted by DHL customers from all over Nigeria who had sent a minimum of five shipments in October, 2010. “

All loyalty cards received at DHL Service Points and agency offices in the country were collated and sent for verification at the DHL head office in Lagos, where a random draw was held to determine the winner, Mr. Monday Bature.

Subsequently he was contacted and after which, a prize presentation attended by DHL officials and members of the public, was held in Abuja where the Mr. Monday Bature was presented with a 32″ LCD TV.
