The Yoruba Unity Forum, an umbrella group for Yoruba people, is scheduled to meet on Thursday, November 8, at the residence of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The meeting, which was convened by the widow of the late Chief Awolowo, Mrs. H.I.D.  Awolowo, is expected to bring together  respected and well-informed Yoruba opinion leaders under a common front and frontier irrespective of their
political, religious affiliations or creed.

In a statement signed by Senator Anthony Adefuye, the forum  asked all Yoruba to attend fully and meaningful contribute  on matters affecting Yoruba unity.
