Eagles’ striker Osaze Odemwingie is hoping to reignite the fire that saw him sparkling on his debut for West Brom, when they visit Wigan Athletic in Saturday’s Premier League encounter.
Osaze who was nursing an injury failed to save Brom in their last Sunday game against Manchester City. But at Wigan the former Insurance of Benin striker is looking to make an impact to justify his huge rating among West Brom fans.
However, he has Nigerian-born Victor Moses as rival in that game. Moses who turned down the chance to play for the Eagles at the last World Cup is also looking to put up a good performance to help Wigan in the chase for the title.
Moses was voted the Wigan Athletic man of the match for his performance in their Carling Cup win over Swansea City at the DW Stadium.
Moses made his first start for the Latics since the opening game of the season in the defeat to Blackpool in which he suffered an injury, he looked hungry from the off playing wide left and made some excellent charges down the line.
